We just had an event in St.Cloud on January 22nd! Shaax and Sheeko was hosted by co-founder Amina Mumin, and we spoke with the women of Central Minnesota. It was a great informative session where we had open discussions about the community and how we can help support the children, the vulnerable, and under-served people in the Somali community. We spoke about what is missing as support, and how Fahan Organization can fill that role.
We served Shaax (Somali tea), Sambusa, Buur Macaan (donut holes), and Deserts. We also had an option for free childcare available to help ease the minds of parents who wanted to attend. Here’s some photos of the event!
